Anna Hüncke is a Research Associate with a focus on fieldwork and action research at the French-German Forum for the Future. She studied African Studies at the University of Leiden (Research Master) and International and Cultural Business Studies with a regional focus on Southeast Asia at the University of Passau (BA). She has submitted a Ph.D. dissertation in anthropology at the University of Konstanz. Her research interests include migration, border studies, crisis resilience, socio-ecological transition, human rights, grassroots. She has conducted extensive empirical research in Southern Africa. Prior to joining the Forum, she worked in the educational sector and in development cooperation.
